Out of Context

Being around people and watching films means i’m surrounded by words and sentences that catch my attention. As before, I have been recorded people talking – some things have made sense and some have seemed random, subconscious. But here, I have taken sentences and listed them separately.

This takes away the context of the text: who said it, what it means, what it is linked to, where I heard it. This makes the words prominent, interesting, engaging. It also leads the reader to take their own interpretation or to get emotion from the phrases, or to relate to them.
