Henry Moore – Draped Seated Figure

I really love this bronze sculpture from 1957-8 showed in Tate Britain. I love the way the figure is composed as if it is fabric itself, as if draped over the surface letting gravity create its folds and textures. I documented this pieces because I loved the use of material on the figure, as if a main focus of the piece – exploring the relationship between clothing and the human and how it is manipulated by the movement of the subject as if the fabric and figure are one entity.
