Form and Space Context for Subject Project

Inspiration from the book Form, Space and Vision by Graham Collier. Here he explores the idea of mass when drawing objects, imagining the weight of things and creatively recreating the things around us. Here are some quotes that I relate too. Whilst working alongside the field landscape project, I want to look at objects as landscapes too, and making ordinary items appear as sculptural pieces of work. I plan to use fabric as an implement to create sculptural forms that I can study and recreate in a way that focuses on the mass and space of the subject to make the viewer feel the presence of it.

These are small studies that represent his way of creating form in objects he studies, the concept of space and using contour lines to suggest size – similar to my use of lines.14962845_10207004989315140_940891554_n
