View Finder Studies

Here are two A2 pieces looking at manipulating scale. Using a view we would draw a far away point in a small square, and study something close by around it. Then we did one reversed. This was very difficult to do due to the wind on the cliff but I quiet like the affect of a small detailed piece in front of another drawing.

Here you can see there the cliffs in the distance, with the plants below me in the background and vice versa. This makes you think about space and what to focus on in a landscape, how to join the near and far and this affect.
